“How difficult can it be to tell a classic love story?”

Verona Çıkmazı is an adaptation of ‘Romeo and Juliet.’ A Narrator, dedicated to telling this well-known love story, simply wants to retell this classic tale. Rosaline, whom we know as Romeo’s first love in the original text and who didn’t reciprocate his feelings, deviates from the story and falls in love with Romeo.

But what if this conflict between the Narrator and Rosaline hinders Romeo and Juliet’s journey to true love? Or what if this conflict actually leads to Romeo and Juliet’s true love?

On one side, a Narrator who tries to complete his story through various disguises and tricks; on the other, Rosaline, who doesn’t want to lose her love; and on yet another side, Romeo and Juliet, who simply want to live their love… And unaware of all this, the walking aura of Paris!

With these characters, it’s impossible for this story to reach its true conclusion without getting bogged down in a dead end. Oh, what a pity…
