Can, who wants everything to go his way, and his mother Elif, who wants her son to do as she says, argue over dinner one evening and go to bed upset. That night, in their dreams, Can has grown up, and Elif has become a child.
In the dream world, Can learns — with a mix of difficulty and amusement — that adults cannot always do whatever they want. Elif, meanwhile, remembers the challenges of being a child. When they wake up in the morning, they understand each other better. Promising to value each other’s wishes and to make an effort to truly listen, they begin to play together.
